October in the South Fork Valley…

By October 24, 2009 One Comment

A rare early season dump of snow and arctic cold hit the valley a few weeks ago and I was lucky enough to climb the earliest ever in my south fork history. October 6th we were able to climb curtains and then proceeded to climb a couple days later in the valley after at least 1-2 feet of snow had fallen. Heading into Joy After Pain and Pillars of the Community I was able to capture some shots in between groveling and catching my breath.
Its going to be a great season…..
Enjoy!

Looks like it's gonna be an awsome year. We were clinbing in Spearfish Canyon on Oct.11th. Can't wait for our yearly trip to Cody. Just hope it's not as cold as last years -24 is just to cold.
